IF I WON I WOULD...
I would be over the moon, this will give me a good opportunity to train abroad during the winter months or help me travel to 1 of many competition i have in the 2009 season, including the European Championships.
My plans for 2009 are to improve on my world ranking where i am currently ranked 3rd and to become the Ladies World Champion. Free flights would enable me to train all year round and give me the same time on the water as the American and Australian girls that i compete against. I currently recieve some funding from UK Sport even though Wakeboarding is a non Olympic Sport but with the help of free flights i could compete at many more international competitions around the world.
As 5x National Champion i already receive alot of media interest both in the UK and America and being able to travel more would really help me to raise the profile of my sport in the UK.
Wakeboarding now is the fastest growing watersports in the World.

MY STORY
I Started Wakeboarding in 2003, where i was encouraged into the sport by my Brothers. I started up the sport for fun, but as time when on i have progressed and progressed, i have now a few records, including the 1st British Female to land an invert on Cable at the age of 13, and also the 1st British female to represent Great Britain at an International Event. I am now 5x National Champion, Ranked 3rd in the World and 2nd in Europe, my ambition would be to get 1st in the World Championships and 1st at the European Championship and to do this i need to be able to train 12 months of the year which at the moment is very difficult because of the weather in the UK and lack of funding to be able to travel abroad.
