We want you to create a bold signature menu inspired by London 2012 that whets the world's appetite for the very best of British cuisine.

Using the best ingredients and the finest wines, your food will be served in First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins on all BA long-haul flights. You will become a chef of international renown overnight, as your dish will be served on flights coming in and out of London in the run up to and during, the London 2012 Games.



To help your menu come to life, you'll benefit from the advice and globally-renowned culinary expertise of Heston Blumenthal OBE. His three-Michelin-starred restaurant, The Fat Duck, was voted The Best Restaurant In The World, and his newly-opened restaurant at the luxury 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel has received rave reviews from food critics all over the world.

August 2011 On the basis of your idea, a shortlist of candidates is drawn up. Candidates are then contacted.
August 2011 All shortlisted entrants are invited to present their ideas to a prestigious judging panel, including Heston Blumenthal, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
21 August 2011 Winner announced.
22 August 2011 Winning chef starts to prepare the menu that will be served to the world.
March 2012 Winner's menu is rolled out on World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.
July 2012 Winner's menu is rolled out on First and Club World.
